Running the Paine to Pain Trail Half Marathon?
Camp out the night before right at the starting line!
A limited number of camp sites are available at The Thomas Paine Cottage Museum.
Sites are open to registered runners & are located in a beautiful residential area.

Camping at Thomas Paine Cottage
Limit of 30 people. Price is $15 per person.
Tents go on the large grassy area in front of the (squeaky clean) port o sans. There are no designated “sites.” Use your judgment to keep elbow room between tents.
Parking is on the street on Paine Avenue, unloading only on Sicard. No parking on Broadview as that is the race course.
A number of Port o sans will be opened all night and the cottage bathroom will be available until 9pm.
No open fires. Camp stoves are OK.
There’s plenty of modest eateries on North Avenue (Iona College is right there). AJ’s Burgers, a P2P sponsor for many years, has great food and a varied menu.
No intoxicated campers.
Keep the noise level respective of our neighbors
Someone will be onsite for info, help etc. until 10-11ish. Free WiFi near front of cottage, kitchen area available until 9pm. A hose will be available all night. Showers will be available at the finish line in the high school locker room.
Wake up is early. P2P arrive for set-up at 5:30a. (so you can’t park on Sicard the first runners come streaming in at 7 am. Tents must be packed away in your cars by 7:00 am.
