​Saturday 2pm – Shake, Rattle & Roll. Previously named Best Music School by Westchester Magazine, gets toddlers, preschoolers, and grown-ups moving and grooving.   Bring your blankets, shakers, tambourines, castanets so your family can play along. Saturday 2-5pm Family Fun 1910s Celebration.  On July 14, 1910, the Paine Cottage was opened to the public as the Huguenot House. As New Rochelle celebrates E.L. Doctorow, we celebrate his novel Ragtime by going back to 1910 with badminton, croquet games, scavenger hunts, and more! Children can also paint pumpkins and enjoy additional crafts & games.  Small giveaways for all children dressed in period costume. Entrance & lawn games free, small donation for refreshments & Halloween arts and crafts. All ages welcome. Thomas Paine Cottage. grounds 20 Sicard Avenue New Rochelle, NY
This is a rain or shine event. Badminton, croquet games, scavenger hunt weather permitting.

Saturday 3-5pm Day of the Dead Celebration - Dia de los Muertos! 
Come participate and learn about an "early" celebration of Day of the Dead with tons of arts & crafts, storytelling and a spooky schoolhouse. Created by award winning bilingual children's book author, Marisa Boan who will be hosting the event. 
Don't forget your spookiest skeleton costume or PJ's.

Saturday 5-9pm The Huguenot House Saloon –
​Our 1910 celebration continues as we transform the Paine Cottage, and we open the Huguenot House Saloon! Step back into the time of E.L. Doctorow’s Ragtime and party as New Rochelle’s ancestors did with music, drink and community. 7-9pm a buffet will be available. Weather permitting - The fire pits will be roaring. An outside showing of the Musical Ragtime will be playing with lots of popcorn to be had. All in period costume will receive a drink on us! This is a free rain or shine entrance event. Additional fee for drinks. Donations welcomed for the buffet. All under 21, please have adults in attendance.

Come out for the annual Artisan Market with over 40 vendors, music, and food. On the historic grounds of the Thomas Paine Cottage 20 Sicard Avenue New Rochelle, NY 10804. Presented by the New Rochelle Council on the Arts Oct. 21, rain date Oct. 22. Additional information coming!
