2025 at Paine's Homestead
In 1908 the Huguenot & New Rochelle Historical Assn. (HNRHA) saved Thomas Paine’s homestead from demolition. July 14, 1910, a fully restored Cottage opened to the public as an historic home museum. Since 1908, the HNRHA, administrators of the historic
home Museum, has relied on the generosity of members,
benefactors & people like you to keep this historic treasure open.  Currently receiving no federal funding for operating expenses.
It is our honor to preserve this historic home; first owned by Huguenot loyalists & then by Founding Father Thomas Paine.  Join us in our mission to maintain a piece of local and national history for generations to come.
