One-Room Schoolhouse Day

April 10, 2011

10am-5pm

Step back into time and experience the life of a 19th century student in our one-room school…the oldest schoolhouse in New Rochelle! Learn your ABC’s and arithmetic using slate boards and be part of “spell-downs”. Bring an apple for the school marm for extra-credit but don’t get caught dipping pig-tails into the ink well.
